Israel Innovation Authority is proud to present Israel’s official Technology companies’ delegation to the Climate Conference – COP28 in Dubai, UAE which will take place starting November 30th, 2023.

The Conference of the Parties (COP) is considered as the UN’s largest global event. Given the gravity of the climate crisis, the importance of this conference only increases with every passing year. This year, over 100 heads of states are expected to participate along with representatives from the private sector, NGOs, academia, press, financial entities and many more. It is estimated that over 100,000 participants will attend the 28th conference which will take place in Dubai’s Expo. During the conference, in addition to discussions pertaining to the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, many organizations and countries, including the State of Israel, will establish official national pavilions to showcase their activities in the climate domain.

30 Israeli Climatech companies have been selected to present their innovative solutions at the Israeli Pavilion at the BLUE ZONE – during COP28, during the first week of the conference – December 3-6, 2023.

The selected companies feature Israeli disruptive R&D that is spearheading all aspects of climate-related innovations and embody a potential to benefit the Israeli economy as a whole as well as the country’s export. They are offering the world a window into Israeli trailblazing technological solutions for reducing carbon emissions – mitigation, as well as technologies that enable the adaptation to a new reality following the climate crisis.

The companies’ technologies cover various verticals including energy, water, agriculture, sustainable manufacturing, sustainable construction, foodtech, transportation, circularity, waste management, and carbon capture.

Capsule minimal develops technologies for the encapsulation of a wide range of water-based products, such as toiletries, cosmetics, household cleaning material, and even wall paintings, pesticides, and fertilizers. Our unique technologies enable the production of compressed powder capsules that include the active ingredients required for the final product in a pre-determined chemo-mechanic structure. Our capsules, independently manufacture the final product in a very short time, upon their placement in water, while replacing significant production activities that until today, due to the lack of suitable technologies, are carried out exclusively in production plants. Our patented encapsulation technologies actually transfer the factory into the home bottle, thus saving more than 80% of production energy inputs, 90 % of transportation, and at least 95% of carbon emissions involved in the whole product’s supply chains. Our products: Accordingly, instead of buying the usual product (that usually contains a polluting disposable plastic bottle, at least 80% water that requires massive logistics and production investments, synthetic polluting active ingredients, and loads of polluting packaging), the consumer, buys a solid capsule with a volume of up to 20% of the total product (usually much less), puts it at home in a reusable bottle, and within a short time receives a finished product (shampoo / body soap / hand soap / conditioner / floor shampoo, dish soap / natural cleaning products for the home.
Our products include:

➤ Reusable bottle made of stainless steel (reusable for thousands of uses and many years)

➤ Capsule containing the active ingredients, capable of self-preparation, with a volume of up to 20% of the volume of the final product

➤ Active ingredients – natural and environmentally friendly – a product of ecological and natural standards.

➤ Water from the tap at the customer’s home (water is already transported to the customer’s home and saves the need for water transportation of thousands of kilometers in expensive and polluting vessels and trucks.

➤ Minimally recycled and eco-friendly packaging (thin eco-moisture-blocking paper) The following are the main features of the products produced with the developed technology that encourage widespread use by all consumers.

➤ Money saving: The resulting products costs are significantly lower than the products used today – savings of at least 30% of the costs for basic consumer goods (saving on bottles, packaging, and logistics).

➤ High quality: The product is of very high quality and healthier than most of the products being used today (natural standard products).
