ConnVAS's core platform, MAGIC, is an all-in-one edge-computing device deployed on roadside infrastructure such as RRFB poles at crosswalks and intersections. The unit integrates AI-powered camera-based detection with V2X communication to identify pedestrians, cyclists, and approaching vehicles with near-zero latency, then automatically triggers audio-visual alerts and sends messages to connected vehicles and infrastructure. It supports multiple deployment configurations, including enhanced RRFBs, passive crosswalk detection, intelligent intersections, and broader V2X/I2V traffic-analytics applications.
