- TOOKAD® is a photosensitizer, derived from palladium-substituted bacteriochlorophyll. It was designed to address limitations of previous attempts in photodynamic therapies. Through its high solubility and activation with low energy with near-infrared light, TOOKAD® enables highly localized vascular occlusion that triggers targeted necrosis of tumor lesions, while sparing surrounding healthy tissue. - STL-6038 enables imaging and treatment of solid tumors by the same compound. The product can home in on a variety of cells in the tumor, reaching biologically relevant concentrations, while clearing from the rest of the body.
