Please note, the deadline for reporting and paying royalties to the Tamura fund for the second half of 2022 will end on 03/01/2023.
You are requested to submit the report in the personal area of the membership system.
The royalty reporting rules, explanations, instructions, etc. are detailed below.

What is a compensation fund?

The Tamura Fund is the only one in the Innovation Authority that is responsible for collecting the royalties.

According to Section 21 of the Innovation Law, a company that received assistance from the Innovation Authority grants is obligated to pay royalties for its income from products based on the knowledge that received funding from the Authority. The royalties are collected according to rules established in the instructions regarding the rate of royalties and rules for their payment. The reimbursement of the royalties is based on the principle according to which, in cases of commercial success, the state is entitled to reimbursement of the grants in exchange for its participation in the risk. The funds collected by the Tamura fund are returned to the research fund budget, thereby increasing the grant budget intended for continuation.
