Dr. Ami Appleboom, Chairman of the Innovation Authority and Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Economy and Industry: The world of cryptography and virtual currencies is characterized by a combination of technological depth and an uncompromising level of reliability, because ultimately it is about how the money of tomorrow’s world will be managed. There is fertile ground here and an opportunity for the entry of quality companies that bring with them disruptive innovation. Many question marks hover over this area and it is not clear what the pace is and in what way governments and banks around the world will adopt blockchain technology and integrate into it. The Innovation Authority encourages and supports the development of technologies that pave the way to a world that is difficult for us today to even imagine, and which, most likely, our grandchildren will not understand how it was possible to live without them.
