Maya was responsible at the Innovation Authority for leading regulatory projects with government ministries and other government entities, as part of the collaboration between the Israeli government and the World Economic Forum, the goal of which is to help local regulators adopt Best Practices when it comes to assimilating innovative technologies, based on having an ongoing dialogue with regulators from around the world, Industry, academia and civil society factors. Most of Maya's work focuses on the field of smart transportation and autonomous vehicles, along with improving and streamlining procurement processes adapted to the procurement of innovative technologies, regulation of artificial intelligence and data accessibility for industry and research needs. Before her position at the Authority, she worked as an advisor to the Chairman of the Economic Committee in the Knesset. Maya has a bachelor's degree in law and social work and a master's degree in conflict resolution and management and negotiation.
