About the event

As part of the Israel Innovation Authority’s efforts to promote international technology transfer and facilitate access to leading global sources of innovation, we invite Israeli companies to participate in a unique webinar featuring representatives from some of the world’s foremost research and applied R&D organizations.

The webinar will bring together experts from VTT (Finland), one of Europe’s leading applied research institutions, alongside representatives from Yale University, Brown University, and Thomas Jefferson University in the United States. These organizations are internationally recognized for their contributions to scientific discovery, technological advancement, and the translation of research into real-world applications.

During the session, participants will be introduced to a range of technologies currently being developed within these institutions, with potential relevance for commercialization and industrial collaboration. The technologies presented will focus primarily on medical devices, sensors, and semiconductor technologies – fields that continue to play a central role in addressing global technological and economic challenges.

Beyond the technology presentations, the webinar will provide an opportunity to engage directly with representatives of these institutions, learn about their technology transfer and collaboration frameworks, and explore potential pathways for cooperation with Israeli industry.

The session will also include an overview of the Israel Innovation Authority’s Knowledge Commercialization Program, including the application process and mechanisms available to support the transfer and commercialization of technologies originating from international research organizations.

This event offers a rare opportunity to gain direct exposure to research and innovation activities at leading institutions in the United States and Europe, and to explore potential collaborations that can contribute to the continued growth and competitiveness of Israel’s innovation ecosystem.
