The European Rail Joint Undertaking (ERJU) fosters a unique partnership between the European Union, rail industry leaders, research organizations, and academic institutions. This collaboration leverages the strengths of each partner to drive forward the rail sector’s technological advancements and innovation. Through joint efforts, the partnershipe aims to develop interoperable and sustainable rail systems, addressing challenges such as digitalization, automation, and climate resilience.

the partners are at the forefront of railway research and development, contributing their expertise and resources to projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in rail transport. This cooperative approach ensures that the innovations that develop are not only cutting-edge but also widely applicable and beneficial across the European rail network.

the project will be part of in transforming Europe’s railways into a more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly mode of transportation, setting new standards for the global rail industry.
