What is a Horizon Europe consortium?

A group of independent entities that join together to apply under a call for proposals.  A consortium must include at least 3 partners from 3 different countries, at least one of which is an entity from an EU member state.

For example, a consortium might include a German university, an Israeli startup, a Greek research institute, a French hospital and a Canadian manufacturing plant. The consortium is led by a coordinator, who manages the proposal and project.
