What are the European Research Area calls?
The European Research Area (ERA) calls offer grants for international consortiums to strengthen European research and innovation policies through various activities. These include policy reforms, research, partnerships, data collection, technology development, and testing small-scale prototypes.
The calls promote the free circulation of knowledge, inclusive gender equality and increased synergy within the R&I system. They focus on aligning strategic research agendas with national plans and involving citizens in research outcomes. Topics include sustainable development goals like quality education, gender equality, industry, innovation and partnerships.
These grants aim to benefit society by improving access to excellence and fostering trust and collaboration within the research community.
