The Disruptive Innovation Program offers individual technology companies or groups of companies the opportunity to develop, validate, test and demonstrate disruptive technologies within a globally unique regulatory sandbox

Among the main objectives of the program are:

1. Providing a complete solution for the entire value chain by enabling the realization of global market opportunities that are difficult to implement due to regulatory barriers, lack of regulation, or inability to integrate different companies and technologies;
2. Contributing to the development of an Israeli technological ecosystem;
3. Provide participating companies with a competitive advantage for accelerating their entry into global markets after the program;
4. Increase the number of early-stage investments in sectors where there are not enough specialists or sector VCs.

  Targeted Participants in this program domain

  Israeli companies and start-ups developing disruptive and multi-purpose innovative products and technologies to face the challenges and pains of “Last-Mile” to “Last-Yard” delivery. Including:

  • Infrastructure and logistics solutions – Developing the necessary infrastructure to efficiently and cost-effectively transport goods in the last mile and last yard
  • Customer Experience – Ensuring that the customer experience remains positive throughout the delivery process. This involves addressing issues such as delivery delays, missed deliveries, and damaged goods
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring that the solution complies with local and international regulations governing transportation, food, logistics, and data privacy
  • Data Analytics and Optimization – Leveraging data analytics and machine learning to optimize the entire delivery process, from route planning to delivery scheduling, to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This also includes innovative data-driven solutions such as Item specialization and Delivery Productization

• Financial Support: Receive financing ranging from 20% to 50% of the approved program’s budget. The funding is subject to the guidelines of benefit track #2, its procedures, and aligns with the investment policy of the Growth Division.
• Access to Demonstration Sites: Gain access to dedicated sites for showcasing and demonstrating innovative technologies and products. This provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your solutions to a relevant audience.
• Collaboration Opportunities: Collaborate with Israeli startups that are developing disruptive and versatile technologies or products. This offers a chance to collaborate with like-minded innovators and explore potential synergies.
• Design Partnerships: Possibility to establish design partnerships with leading third-party logistics providers (3PLs), shippers, retailers, and couriers. This opens doors to valuable partnerships with industry leaders and enhances market exposure.
• Regulatory Sandbox: Test new business models within a supportive regulatory environment, known as a “regulatory sandbox”. Benefit from continuous support and direct access to regulatory bodies in Israel, enabling you to navigate regulations more effectively.
• De-risking: Reduce risks associated with R&D costs, demonstration, integration, and regulation. The program aims to mitigate potential obstacles and provide a favorable environment for innovation.
