Call for Proposals is intended for manufacturing companies in the cosmetics industry dealing with a range of products including: hair products, wipes, anti-aging, baby and pregnancy products, Dead Sea products, sun protection products, make-up and all other cosmetics products.

Program Description
The Israel Innovation Authority, in cooperation with the cosmetics branch of the Manufacturers Association of Israel, invites manufacturing plants in the cosmetics industry to submit applications for grants for R&D programs and technological innovation plans.
Submissions will include the following stages: Product development in cosmetics or raw materials for the cosmetics industry, innovative technologies and manufacturing processes. The plans submitted must be technologically innovative beyond the Company’s capabilities, and extend its market value and the Israeli economy.
Criteria
Submissions should include, among others:
- Innovation in raw materials, improved formulas, natural ingredients, for the development of a new product
- Use innovative materials or innovative processes to improve existing product features
- Development of new technological capabilities for the production plant, including:
- Technological development of automation in the production line
- Technological solutions for upgrading and improving machine productivity and improving production capacity
Funding
Innovation projects, which will be carried out within the framework of the call for submission, under the MOFET track (R&D in the manufacturing industry), may be eligible for a grant of between 40% and 70% of the approved development expenses.
Let it be clear that the rate of the grant, the development expenses and eligibility for exemption from royalties, are subject to the terms of the MOFET plan in the Innovation Authority and approval of the plan by the Research Committee of Advanced Manufacturing Division
Application Process
Submissions in response to this call will be supported by virtue of “Incentive Program No. 36 – Promoting Technological Innovation in the Manufacturing Industry” In the event of a conflict between this call and the provisions of the incentive plan, the provisions of the incentive plan will be legally binding.
