The Rotary Image Generator (RIG) contains sensors and optical components that shoot up to 480 images per second around 360 degrees at a rotation speed of up to 3000 rounds per minute. The uniqueness of the RIG is the way it creates views wherever there is a need to look in several different directions at once, or quickly change direction of view and provide an unlimited number of users with different views simultaneously using the same RIG device. The RIG does not need mechanisms for mechanical or electronic stabilization. The RIG delivers an unlimited number of spherical views as a sequence of digital still images that have been converted into a video format for viewing in real time, where the user can select any part of the interactive spherical video. RIG technology enables customers to drive and remotely control manned, unmanned and robotic vehicles without windows, while giving the driver, the operator and the system users outside panoramic vision identical to reality, from one device, while improving their ability to assess the situation, and the speed and quality of decision making in real time.
