Kitera IO is based on Prof. Tamir Klein's technology from Weizmann Institute, developing an innovative sensing device for advanced tree-health monitoring and carbon assessment, aiming to transform forestry and environmental care.

Kitera develops tree-embedded IoT sensing technology that continuously measures internal tree physiology in real time. Its proprietary sensors capture ground-truth signals such as water flux and transpiration directly from the tree, enabling early detection of stress before visible symptoms appear. The data is transmitted to a cloud platform where AI-driven and scientific analytics convert raw measurements into actionable insights. This integrated hardware-plus-software system supports precision forestry, agriculture, and carbon monitoring at tree and forest scale.
