Description
An artificial cusp added to the native aortic valve
Technology
Cusper™ is and artificial cusp, attached to the native aortic cusp using a nitinol grasper. When the valve is open, Cusper™ keeps the opening at the original size, thus preventing aortic insufficiency. When the valve is closed Cusper™ ensures that there is no opening between the cusps, thus preventing leakage.
