The cResponse™ test evaluates up to eight therapies suggested by the oncologist—including chemotherapy, biologics, and immunotherapies—by assessing their performance on a patient’s biopsy. The test preserves the tumor’s 3D structure and microenvironm

Technology

Curesponse has developed a 3-dimensional tissue culture system for modeling cancer growth and drug response. The platform preserves the cancer tissue architecture (including vasculature and immune system) accurately reflecting the cancer growth found in the body. The company have harnessed the technology to create a personalized cancer diagnostic assay that can be used to determine drug response for a specific individuals tumor type. Patients and clinicians can send samples of their tumor to be tested with a panel of anti-cancer therapies predetermined by genomic screening and physician assessment. The patient’s tissue is cultured with the chosen drugs and analyzed with a proprietary evaluation system. The patient will then be informed which drug is the preferred therapy for their tumor, optimizing treatment and increasing their chances of survival. The test can be also used by pharmaceutical companies to expedite their drug development process, as well as for clinical trials as a patient inclusion criteria.
