Technology

Kardome's core engine, Spatial Hearing AI, uses proprietary acoustic-clustering algorithms to analyze the full reflection pattern a voice creates within a room, mapping depth, distance, and elevation so that each speaker is treated as a distinct object in 3D space rather than just a direction. This lets the system isolate and continuously track individual voices — even as speakers move — in multi-speaker, noisy environments (the "cocktail party problem"). The platform is delivered as a modular real-time software suite: SoundMap (spatial detection and source tracking), ClearZone NS (two-stage noise suppression), Barge-In (multi-channel acoustic echo cancellation), and Advanced Voice (speech optimization for ASR and telephony). A second layer, Cognition AI, adds contextual understanding of speaker identity and intent. Processing runs entirely on-device/at the edge rather than in the cloud, targeting zero added latency and local handling of raw audio for privacy.
