Kappasense’s FREEe™ is a linear encoder technology platform in which the readhead is a passive device weighs only 3 grams. Due to it’s Passive, Cable-less characteristics, moving Cables are not required. All the encoder cabling is static and connected to the scale. Kappasense’s FLEXe™ is a Series of extremely wide operational range capacitive linear encoders using its unique Capacitive Technology. The Active Read Head can operate with high Y & Z tolerances which could be perfect for operations in vibrating environment.
