Maayan Hacohen serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority, where she leads the CEO’s staff operations, sets organizational priorities, and advances complex cross-organizational processes. In this role, she works to effectively connect policy, planning, and implementation, remove barriers, and promote collaboration.
Prior to joining the Israel Innovation Authority, Hacohen held senior staff and management positions in the public sector. She served as a Unit Director at the Israel Corporations Authority and as a regulator in the field, where she led regulatory and strategic processes, including policy development, the advancement of legislation, and the establishment of organizational infrastructure. Previously, she served as an advisor to the Deputy State Attorney for Civil Affairs, managed staff teams, contributed to the development of organizational strategy, led a large-scale digital transformation, and worked with senior officials across the judicial system and government ministries.
Hacohen is a qualified attorney and holds an LL.B., graduating with highest honors, and a master’s degree in public administration and policy, with honors, from Bar-Ilan University. She completed her legal internship in the High Court of Justice Department at the State Attorney’s Office and brings extensive experience in leading change processes and connecting vision, policy, and implementation.
