Lior Yafe is Head of International Organizations at the Israel Innovation Authority, leading Israel’s strategic engagement with major global institutions, including the World Economic Forum, OECD and multilateral policy networks.
Previously, he served as Israel’s Economic Consul to Mexico, heading the Economy and Trade Mission and overseeing trade, investment, and regulatory cooperation. Earlier, Lior held senior positions at the Ministry of Economy and Industry at the World Trade Organization Department and Invest in Israel Agency. He also worked at the State Attorney’s Office and served in legal advisory roles at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Defense.
Earlier in his career, Lior was a Jewish Agency’s Fellow at Cleveland Hillel, and founded two mobile technology startups.
Lior holds an MPA from Harvard, MA in Political Science and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (magna cum laude) and a dual degree in Law and Political Science from Tel Aviv University.
