Program Description

The JTC2026 Call for Proposals under the EP PerMed sub-program is intended for innovative research in personalized medicine for cardiovascular, metabolic, and kidney diseases. It focuses on integrating multi-omics data and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence for early diagnosis, treatment personalization, and monitoring patient responses. Proposals will require multidisciplinary collaborations and a plan for clinical implementation, with attention to ethical and social aspects.

Funding 

• The Innovation Authority grant rate will be 66% of the approved budget for industrial corporations and 80% of the approved budget for commercialization companies (academia).
• The total grant budget allocated by the Innovation Authority for all Israeli participants approved under the EP PerMed JTC sub-program in 2026 is €0.5 million.
• This does not constitute a commitment to pay this amount, in whole or in part.
• Participants funded by the Ministry of Health under its public call will not be eligible for double funding from both the Innovation Authority and the Ministry of Health for the same activity, subject to the ISERD Procedure.

Criteria

The call is open to Israeli Industrial corporations that submitted an application to the EP PerMed sub-program and researchers from Israeli academia through the research institution’s commercialization company, conducting joint research with an Israeli industrial corporation partner in the consortium, which committed to fund at least 10% of the Israeli academic partner’s project budget).

According to sub-program rules, submission within an international consortium under EP PerMed requires at least three partners from at least three different participating countries, with at least one being an EU member state.

Submission Deadline

EP PerMed Partnership:

• Stage 1 deadline: February 10, 2026, 14:00 CET
• Stage 2 deadline: June 9, 2026, 14:00 CEST.

Deadlines are set by EP PerMed management and may change. Applicants must verify dates and conditions on the official website.

Israel Innovation Authority:

• Stage 1 deadline: February 17, 2026, 12:00 Israel time
• Stage 2 deadline: June 16, 2026, 12:00 Israel time.

Submission is via the Innovation Authority personal area.
