Ofer Ziv, Head of the Finance Division at the Israel Innovation Authority, is appointed by law by the Accountant General at the Ministry of Finance. He is responsible for the Authority’s financial activities, including signing and approving engagement and support agreements, executing payments, managing payroll, recording and collecting revenues, managing debts, and preparing the Authority’s financial statements, in accordance with the Budget Law, the Mandatory Tenders Law, the State Assets Law, and applicable procedures and directives.
Ofer has worked at the Accountant General’s Department since 1999 and has held a variety of senior positions, including Director of the Government Vehicle Administration, Accountant of the Israel Employment Service, and Accountant of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Ofer holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Public Policy, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
