20 Israeli Smart-Mobility and Defense-Tech Companies to Participate; I4F Bilateral Fund Highlighted as Cornerstone of India–Israel Technological Partnership

The Israel Innovation Authority announced today that Israel will launch its national innovation showcase in India at Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025, underscoring the growing role of technology collaboration in the India–Israel relationship. The Israeli Pavilion is set to feature some 20 Deep-Tech companies, including 12 Israeli companies with a strong emphasis on smart mobility, that are part of the Innovation Authority’s tech delegation, aimed at exploring joint opportunities with Indian industry, investors, and government stakeholders.

Israel and India are already linked through the Israel–India Industrial R&D and Technological Bilateral Fund (I4F). The fund supports joint R&D and innovation projects and serves as a key platform for strengthening long-term technological and commercial ties. The Israel Innovation Authority regards I4F as a practical foundation upon which broader cooperation can be built.

The Israeli delegation includes companies developing technologies in connected and autonomous mobility, fleet and logistics optimization, EV and energy management, transportation cybersecurity, and data and AI infrastructure for urban environments. Their participation targets real-world challenges in the Indian market – including congestion, safety, operational efficiency, and the management of rapidly expanding urban transport systems.

To facilitate follow-up opportunities, the Israel Innovation Authority has launched an online catalogue of its delegation of the smart mobility companies, enabling Indian corporates, investors, and ecosystem partners to review solutions, identify potential matches, and initiate discussions during and after the summit.

Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority and a keynote speaker at the summit, said: “The current level of engagement reflects a shared interest in more structured cooperation. Israel and India bring very different but highly complementary strengths. Israeli technology companies are used to working at the edge of innovation and moving quickly from concept to tested solution. India offers scale, a broad industrial base, and one of the world’s most dynamic markets. Combining these advantages creates real potential for joint projects that deliver value in both countries. Our goal is to see Israeli and Indian companies develop technologies together and test them in real-world conditions in the Indian market. For Indian partners, this means early access to advanced solutions. For Israeli companies, it opens the door to a major market with global reach.”

Orli Weitzman, Consul General to South India: “Led by the Consulate of Israel in Bengaluru and the Israel Economic Mission to South India, Israel is making its strongest showing yet at the Bengaluru Tech Summit with its largest-ever national booth. Featuring over 20 cutting-edge companies, the Israeli pavilion captures the country’s reputation as a global innovation powerhouse. The record participation reflects the country’s drive to deepen India-Israel ties through collaboration and technology.”

The Israel Innovation Authority, working in coordination with the Economic Mission to South India and the Consulate General of Israel in Bengaluru, views this year’s strong participation and the growing use of the I4F fund as clear indicators of untapped potential in the India–Israel innovation corridor. Activities around the summit are expected to help shape future discussions on more structured frameworks for bilateral cooperation in technology and innovation.
