About the Event
About the ERC Synergy:
The ERC Synergy Grants address an ambitious research problem, in any field of research, that cannot be carried out by a single Principal Investigator (PI) working alone, and should be tackled by an interdisciplinary group of 2-4 Principal Investigators (PIs) working together and bringing different skills and resources to tackle ambitious research problems. PIs, from a public or private research organization, must present an early achievement track-record or a ten-year track-record, whichever is most appropriate. The public or private research organisation (known as a Host Institution, HI) must be established in one of the EU Member States or Associated Countries. ERC Synergy Grants can be up to a maximum of € 10 million for a period of 6 years (pro rata for projects of shorter duration). Proposals are evaluated on the sole criterion of scientific excellence which takes on the additional meaning of outstanding intrinsic synergetic effect.
About the Event:
ISERD will hold a seminar on ERC Synergy with Dr. Agnes KULCSAR, Synergy grant call coordinator at the ERCEA as keynote speaker. The event is onsite at Bar-Ilan University.
