The Foreign Partner:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n Apollo Hospitals<\/strong> is the largest integrated private hospital group in Asia with expertise in managing hospitals, clinics, health insurance, healthcare IT, Telemedicine, Education, Pharmacy retail & Medical business process outsourcing. It owns & manages over 11,000 beds across 70 hospitals, 3272 pharmacies & 102 clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to the Innovation Authority\u2019s support via the Israel-India Fund (I4F), Zebra Medical Vision has created a strategic collaboration with the largest health supplier in India, Apollo Hospitals. As part of this collaboration, Zebra Medical Vision operates an Artificial Intelligence tool for imaging used for swift, efficient and low-cost automatic diagnosis of tuberculosis. “<\/strong>We are excited to partner with the leading healthcare services provider in India and to help bring AI to India at such a scale. Zebra \u2013 Med\u2019s high-performance software has secured multiple regulatory approvals, such as FDA and CE, and is installed in hospitals globally. Zebra – Med was named one of Fast Company\u2019s Top-5 AI and Machine Learning companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSuccessful Innovation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Zebra Medical Vision initially gained exposure in India via the Bridge to Innovation Program that was launched by the Innovation Authority in 2017 .At the beginning of 2019, with the financial support of the I4F Fund, the company signed on an agreement for the wide scale assimilation of its diagnostic system in all health services provided by Apollo Hospitals, with an emphasis on outlying and rural areas that currently lack sufficient coverage.
This collaboration represents the largest and most widespread assimilation of Artificial Intelligence ever undertaken in India and may serve as a potential breakthrough in the diagnosis of tuberculosis, providing an important stride forward in the treatment of the disease and the millions of patients who suffer from it worldwide.
In September 2019, Zebra Medical Vision announced another new cooperation agreement, this time with Medsynaptic Pvt Ltd. an Indian PACS company that specializes in a distribution and display system of medical imaging and that develops unique IT solutions in the health services field.
In 2020, Zebra – Med and Apollo joined forces in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemics by integrating Zebra – Med\u2019s AI platform for Covid-19 detection and disease progression tracking into Apollo Radiology International\u2019s dedicated COVID Reporting Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
