With this call, they invite consortia of Israeli &amp; Swiss entities to submit cooperation projects covering areas of&nbsp;mutual interest and a strong market potential in both Israel and Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relevant Technologies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All technology sectors<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The project will be evaluated under three main criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Impact<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Is the market properly addressed in terms of size, access and risk?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the value creation in terms of growth, employment, environmental and societal benefits&nbsp;properly addressed\/<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What would be the competitive advantages resulting from the project?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are the commercialization plans (market and implementation plan) clear and realistic?<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Excellence<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the degree of innovation?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The innovation aspect of a project must go beyond the international state of the art.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How is the new knowledge going to be used?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the project scientifically and technically challenging for the partners?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are technical achievability &amp; risks conveniently addressed?<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project Quality<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Is the scope of the project clear and well defined?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are project goals &amp; milestones well-planned, realistic and clearly defined?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the cost structure reasonable?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are the proposed procedures and resources justified?<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Project Consortia &amp; efficiency of the implementation<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Does the consortia have complementary excellence and expertise?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is there added value through international co-operation?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management ability to successfully carry out the project and implement the results?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mutual advancement of R&amp;D through transfer of knowledge and expertise.<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The support offered is detailed in the<a href=\"https:\/\/innovationisrael.org.il\/en\/program\/bilateral-programs-parallel-support\">&nbsp;bilateral incentive program for R&amp;D with International Partners<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The deadline for submission to the Innovation Authority is 29th of June, 2022 at 12:00<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The simple online Eureka application form (<a href=\"https:\/\/eureka.smartsimple.ie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/eureka.smartsimple.ie\/<\/a>) must be submitted by<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29th of June, 2022, 17:00 (CEST).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition to the submission of the Eureka application form, project partners are required to submit&nbsp;a related national funding application to their respective funding agencies, taking into account all&nbsp;relevant procedures and submission rules described in the chapter \u201cNational funding conditions\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Israeli applicants<\/strong>&nbsp;have to submit to the Innovation Authority as described via&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/innovationisrael.org.il\/international\/rnd\">this link<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Swiss applicants<\/strong>&nbsp;have to submit the Innosuisse application as described on the Innosuisse&nbsp;webpage. On the web-based submission portal of Innosuisse (innolink.innosuisse.ch),\n<ul>\n<li>Please mark your project title to begin with \u201cJoint Call IL-CH 2022:\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please select option \u201cBilateral &#8211; Israel\u201d for \u201cAre you submitting your funding application&nbsp;within the framework of a special funding measure?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In addition to the Israeli companies\u2019 application to the Israel Innovation Authority, their foreign partners must apply to the funding authority in their country.
