Either company must not have more than 20% shareholding in the partnering company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The joint project must be undertaken in Korea and Israel. At least 30% of the actual R&amp;D work must be done in Korea as well as in Israel.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The KORIL-RDF funding covers the R&amp;D portion of the companies\u2019 total development cost in the joint projects.&nbsp;<br>Full-scale project\u2019s maximum period is 3 years. The maximum actual grant will vary to be commensurate with proposal evaluation grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Overall Grade<\/td><td>A<\/td><td>B+<\/td><td>B<\/td><td>B-<\/td><td>C<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Maximum Grant (%)<\/td><td>50<\/td><td>45<\/td><td>40<\/td><td>35<\/td><td>30<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Maximum Grant (USD)<\/td><td>1,000,000<\/td><td>900,000<\/td><td>800,000<\/td><td>650,000<\/td><td>500,000<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Israeli proposals should be submitted to the KORIL-RDF Israel Office to Ms. Ella Heller Israel Manager:<br>E-mail :&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:Ella.heller@innovationisrael.org.il\">Ella.heller@innovationisrael.org.il<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Submission Process:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Discuss and Decide to Collaborate<br>If there is interest to submit a project co-funding application to KORIL-RDF, after their discussion on joint R&amp;D collaboration, Companies are advised to contact the KORIL-RDF Managers in the respective countries to understand more about the KORIL-RDF Program and to share with the KORIL-RDF Managers the proposed project in mind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Describe the technical aspects, which include:\n<ul>\n<li>The innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The proposed R&amp;D project detailing the schedule and the involvement of the two parties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a business plan, which should describe the following:\n<ul>\n<li>Market potential &#8211; i.e., potential size; competitive edge, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commercialization &#8211; i.e., respective company roles; manufacturing\/production; marketing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategies; projected return on investment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooperation &amp; benefits shared financial exposure; projected benefits for each party<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organization &amp; management plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Company &amp; personnel descriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project budget for both companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project Evaluation<br>Following the Full Proposal Submission, Evaluation Meetings will be conducted in Korea and Israel at the Companies\u2019 premises respectively. Independent Reviewers and the KORIL-RDF team will visit the Companies and presentation on the Project will be required from both Companies during the Meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KORIL-RDF Board Approval<br>After the Project Evaluation, the Project Proposal will be presented to the KORIL-RDF Board for approval. The KORIL-RDF Board Meeting is convened twice a year.
