MTEC is able to fund internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet the intent of this RPP, each proposal <strong>SHALL<\/strong> specifically address <strong>ONLY ONE<\/strong> Focus Area described below. Offerors are not limited to a single proposal submission. Projects that fail to align with only one of these Focus Areas may not be considered for funding. <strong>Focus of areas of interest <\/strong>for companies with an innovative technology at <strong>TRL 3 or 4 and above<\/strong> [see <a href=\"https:\/\/mtec-sc.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/MTEC-FY-2025-Multi-Topic-Pre-Announcement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RPP for minimum TRL required<\/a> for each focus area] include, but are not limited to the listing below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Traumatic Brain Injury<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Burn Care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prophylactic to Prevent Infection in Battlefield Wounds from Complex Traumatic Penetrating Injuries in a Far-Forward, Austere Environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pathogen Agnostic Countermeasures for the Treatment of Sepsis Caused by Wound Infection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Antivirals for the Prevention and\/or Treatment of Endemic and Emerging Infectious Diseases (Non-biothreat Pathogens)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prevention of Endemic Diarrheal Diseases<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge Product Solutions for the Prevention of Infection in Traumatic Penetrating Wounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pharmacogenetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nutrition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Musculoskeletal injury<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer Simulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Awards resulting from this RPP are expected to be made in the second half of 2025. The expected start date is no sooner than 4 months after the submission of your enhanced white paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Total budget<\/strong> of this RPP process \u2013 TBD. For informational purposes only, the average size of MTEC awards is $M 2-3.5 for a period of performance of 2-3 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Awards can cover a broad spectrum of activities including<\/span>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prototype development, refinement, maturation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nonclinical and preclinical studies required for the technical data package for a regulatory application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical Studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish robust quality system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve efficiency and reproducibility of manufacturing process for scale up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work towards FDA clearance\/ approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Military environmental and operational assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ruggedization for operation in military environments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced technical testing in relevant or simulated operational environments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are successful in obtaining an award via MTEC,&nbsp;there is the potential for award of one or more non-competitive follow-on tasks based on the success of the project. Pending successful completion of the total effort, the U.S. Government may issue a non-competitive follow-on production contract or transaction pursuant to 10 U.S.C. \u00a7 4022 section f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Please note<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 the Israel Innovation Authority is not a partner of MTEC and does not evaluate the proposals or participating in the decision-making process.
